Horrible, third-class service (in 2017!) I traveled on Thalys from Paris to Rotterdam on 10th December 2017. Because my flight from Paris had been cancelled. I purchased a single ticket for 135 Eur and expected (based on many previous journeys on this train) a comfortable, pleasant journey. At the station it showed my ticket did not have a seat reservation ( all tickets used to be with seat reservation included so Thalys at some time changed this). I had to stand for three hours on a cold, damp, full balcony with my luggage. I thought third-class travel had been abolished in developed countries. The conductor promised to look out for a seat, but I did not see the chap back after departure from Paris. Filing complaints with the company is of no use as they do not take passengers seriously. From now on I vow to NEVER travel on this "train" again. Mediocre, poor, third-class with no service whatsoever. Safe yourself a lot of trouble and money and travel comfortably by plane. Even traveling by coach will probably prove more comfortable. This "train" and the "service" by staff are disgusting.`An absolute disaster.

Mijn wife fainted on board of the Snow Thalys to Bourgeois St. Maurice. The staff, especially train steward Shady, were great. A doctor was called for in the train and they came up with a defibrillator and all kind of medical assistance plus asking for
Ambulance in Bourg St. Maurice after asssesing the seriousness of the situation with the doctor. Great assistance

Traveled from Paris tot bruxelles in friday and back on Sunday. Friday was horrible, there was a Fire at 13:00 in the afternoon so no worries i thouged my train is leaving at 21:35 so they have like 7 hours to fix the delays. Boy was I wrong. The train an hour earlier was suspended and but that was only announced one hour later than they original departure hour. There was no info about my train. In the end they put Everyone in a train that left at 22:20. Chaos and no information at all during the wait.
My Road back was alsof full of surprises. Train left at 17:13, i was 2 minutes before departure there as announced, but no gate information was given. By the time I was at there right place 17:13 exactly, they already sounded the departure. The train stood there smiling at me and they didnt let me in anymore. Since i didnt boughed the lost expensive ticket they only told you ll need a new one and yes that will cost you 106 euro's. Thank you thalys!

Amsterdam-Lille/Rijssel geen risto service, stinkende coupes en met 1 uur vertraging als het goed gaat... Wij zijn er nog niet... waarom neem je dan de thalys? Met die prijzen can je beter vliegen
