The disappointment I think was entirely my fault not the company s I ordered in haste and though I suspect the details did include details of size I didn t register them. As a result the tongs I ordered weren t really what I wanted which were tongs large enough to use for a real fire. They are however every bit as attractive as they looked when ordering and have been appreciated as decorative tongs.

Perhaps cater to the stupid like me a little better by making clearer what use tongs are suitable for decoration coal fire log fire whatever . But really I shouldn t be so stupid
